About Us

Who is
Emerald Audio

Emerald Audio introduces a new chapter in digital audio by telling exclusive scripted stories by combining two of the most intimate mediums: the written word and the power of audio.

We create meaningful connection and community through female-led storytelling, featuring original content by a network of bestselling and nationally recognized storytellers.

Back Story

Once upon a time… world-renowned bestselling author Jane Green found herself talking shop with audio industry powerhouse Spencer Brown in their storybook hometown of Westport, CT. The two of them shared a deep love for literature and quickly realized that there was a part of the audio industry that was missing; female-driven, female-led narrative storytelling.

Several years later, a new network was born out of passion, belief, and a commitment to bring the best stories to the podcast world. Jane and Spencer, together with the team at Gemini XIII, created the next great chapter of the written word… Emerald Audio.
