The Infinite Worlds of Ella Jane is based on the Wattpad story written by Loridee De Villa. The podcast is produced by Shaftesbury with financial participation of The Shaw Rocket Fund. This YA fantasy story was the winner of the 2020 Shaw Rocket Fund Accelerator Writing Contest with Wattpad Webtoon Studios, which asked young writers to create inclusive stories for teens.

Loridee De Villa is a celebrated Wattpad author whose storytelling has captivated a massive online audience. Notably, she is the published author of the Watty Award-winning novel, How to Be the Best Third Wheel, which has garnered millions of reads on Wattpad. Loridee is also the author of The Infinite Worlds of Ella Jane, winner of the Shaw Rocket Fund contest, and the first Wattpad short story to be adapted into a podcast.
